For the selection of the mining vibrating screen, there are many people are confused and they don’t know how to choose, because there are many kinds of vibrating screens. If you want to choose a suitable mining equipment screening machinery, you must first understand the structure and working princes, the advantages and disadvantages and the scope of the applicability of the vibrating screen.
Now let us discuss these kinds of mining vibrating screen.
First,let us talk about the gyratory vibrating screen. The body is one plane. The plane trajectory is divided into linear motion, circular motion, elliptical motion and complex motion. Shaking screen and vibrating screen belong to this category.
Second, we will introduce the roller screen. The working face is composed by the horizontally arranged root scroll axis shaft. There are plates on the bearing. The fine materials go through the gap between rollers and plates. The bulk materials is driven by the roller to one end and discharged from the end. The concentrators rarely use this screen.
Third, we will introduce the shaking screen. The crank linkage is regarded as the transmission part. Motor is rotated via a belt and pulley drives the eccentric shaft for rotation. The body moves with the connecting rod for reciprocating movement along a certain direction. The direction of movement of the body is perpendicular to the strut or the center line of the hanging rods. The material on the screen is moved to the discharge end with certain speed due to the swinging motion of the body so that the material also be sieved. Compared with the above screens, the productivity and the screening efficiency of the shaking screen is higher. The disadvantage is that the driving force is poorly balanced. The concentrators rarely use it, and the structure is replaced by more reasonable vibrating screen.
Forth, we will talk about the fixed screen. The working parts are fixed and slide along the working surface and make the material screened. The fixed grid screen is common used in the concentrator for rough crushing and the pre-screening before medium crushing. It is simple in structure with convenient manufacture. It dose not consume power and it can directly unload the ore to the screen surface. The main drawbacks are the low productivity and low screening efficiency.
